"EPS Pensioners’ War for Justice: A Battle Beyond the Battlefield"

WHEN WILL THE EPS PENSIONERS STRUGGLE END.?

The independence movement lasted for 33 years. During that time no one thought of getting independence. Thousands of people lost their lives. Family members of the deceased in the freedom movement might have cursed Gandhi ji. So many people might have criticised the independent movement. But the movement did not stop. Finally we got independent India. Gandhi did not enjoy the fruits of independence india. But we are enjoying the fruits of Independence India. We are breathing in independent India.

So is the case with Pandavas and Kavrawas.

Pandavas had to go 12 years of Vanavasa and one year of Angatha vasam. Yet they did not get their kingdom. They had to do war with kovrawas, their own cousins, gurus, uncles, grand father, and their own people for which they are not interested. The war has been done as per the wishes of Sri Krishna.

Sri Krishna said do Karma for establishing the Dharma. As you are from king’s family Dharma Rakha is your duty. You can not run away from your duty.
Hence Arjuna was ready for doing war even against his wishes.

Meaning of war has been changed as the time passed.

In the ancient times the war means only with Army.

War with Army has become out dated yet it requires army.

Now a days Airforce gained importance in the present war system.

You might have abserved the wars of Russia and Ukraine, Israel and Iran, India and Pakistan, almost the war is with Air force only. The war with Army almost became lesser importance and almost restricted to border security. With the Airforce gaining importance with in one hour the towns are turning in to ashes.

Despite lakhs of crores of worth damage to each country no one of the country is going to stop the war immediately.

Each country wants gain it’s importance and don’t want to hear other countrie’s interests.

So is the case with The Indian Government and old aged EPS pensioners.

Here the Indian Government says we have no money to pay EPS pensioners.

The Government is bent upon Not hearing, Not speaking, Not seeing, and not considering the long old EPS pensioners grievances.

But the old aged EPS pensioners say:

How can we live with this meagre minimum EPS pension of Rs 1000/-pm.

We have paid taxes during our service along with others.

We have contributed for the development of the country for 3 to 4 decades during our service.

We have contributed for the pension fund during our service.

The elected politicians for 5 years , who did not contribute pension fund are getting bulk salaries and pensions and other perquisites and other facilities while the EPS pensioners who worked for 3 to 4 decades, who contributed for the pension fund are getting a minimum EPS pension of Rs 1000/- pm. Is it the social justice, is it the equal justice, shall we keep quite or fight for Dharma ( Social justice).

When the natural resources are distributed to the remaining people why EPS pensioners should keep quite for the negligence of the government.

Government is for welfare and development of the country.

People are for projecting the injustice done by the government.

Either the EPS pensioners have to bear the injustice or to project the injustice done to them before the government and public.

Those who do not come out with the injustice done to them, they deemed to have got justice and no one recognises them as the people of injustice, the people ignored by the government.

There are lot of issues before government. the problems of serious nature only will be resolved by the government but not all. The seriousness of the problem only will be resolved by the government when they feel it.

Now a days war of justice can not be limited to one route. As there are three rutes of Army, Navy, and Air Force for doing war. One approach of us is not sufficient for any war.

Such is the case of EPS pensioners. One approach is not sufficient for EPS pensioners for fighting with government.

The letters written to the PM, FIN. MIN, MOL&E, EPFO may be sent to cold storage.

The court cases can be defended by Government with EPS pensioners money.

The defending can be in various ways , such as :

Counter filing with an affidavit,

Fighting with a best advocate with EPS pensioners money.

Delaying tactics with various reasons.

If favourable judgement comes in favour of EPS pensioners, going for appeal for two bench or three bench.

Even if favourable judgement comes in favour of EPS pensioners in two or three bench judges appealing in the supreme court.

Even if the judgement comes against EPFO in supreme court of two bench or three bench, again submitting Review Petition and calling back the dismissed appeal.

Some frightening information passing on to the chief justice for admitting Review Petition.

Mis guiding the judges with wrong information.

Misguiding the Actuaries with wrong information and getting authenticated wrong reports.

Delaying tactics in the name of committees.

Appointing committees after committees but do not take any decision till the Government wording is heared by the committees.

Dividing the associations and making difference of opinions among them to weaken any agitation.

During this time 25% of EPS pensioners died and all will be dis heartened and the fight will be weakened is the intension of the government.

The approach before Retired Employees Welfare Associations is either to Accept minimum EPS pension of Rs 1000/- and accepting EPS pension on minimum wages and AND ACCEPTING OUR DEFEAT BEFORE THE GOVERNMENT AND OF PUBLIC.

FIGHTING WITH THE GOVERNMENT FOR OUR RIGHT CAUSE

With the following approaches.

COURT ROUTE.
DHARNA ROUTE .
PARLIAMENT ROUTE.
NEWS MEDEA ROUTE.
FLOODING LETTERS.

We have to use various modes of movement instead of one movement.

There may be different leaders for different movements.

LET US ALL RESPECT ALL LEADERS WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR THE CAUSE.
