Jeevanabhruti may come to the pockets of Apsrtc Retired Employees

Sri Palle Raghunatha Reddy, retired Superintendent (Personnel) of APSRTC represented to Sri Chandra Babu Naidu, during his election campaign before 2024 Assembly elections in Kadapah to provide “Jeevana Bhruthi” to employees of APSRTC numbering about 6,000 who retired on or before 31-08-2014 and not eligible for Higher Pension under EPS,’95 and getting EPS,’95 Pension in the range less than 1,000/- or in fewer cases less than 2,000/-.

Sri Chandra Babu Naidu assured him that he will consider the request.

From that time Sri Raghunatha Reddy is making continuous efforts through the MLA of Kadapah Smt Madhavi Reddy for “Jeevana Bhruthi”.

The MLA is also steadfast in her efforts. Previously when she represented the issue in the Assembly when Sri Raghu Rama Raju was conducting the House as Speaker (Deputy Speaker in the Chair of the Speaker), he took it easily. But the Smt R. Madhavi Reddy is relentless in her efforts.

Now in the present Assembly sessions, she again raised the issue saying that only 6,000 employees are eligible and if they are provided with a monthly Pension (Jeevana Bhruthi) of 6,000/- which is equivalent to the Free Pension given to Handicapped, the expenditure comes to 2 to 3 Crores per month only.

Further the number of 6,000 gradually gets reduced due to deaths of the employees. She also said that because of receiving EPS,’95 Pension they are losing benefits provided by A.P. Government. On this Transport Minister responded saying that the issue is very much in his mind and and also in the mind of the Chief Minister and assured that he will pursue to matter to its logical conclusion.

This is the achievement for unceasing efforts made by Sri Palle Raghunatha Reddy.
