Many times they Supreme Court hearings and judgements postponed.
Many pensioners are pinning their confidence in the Supreme Court judgement since many High courts have given a positive judgement in the higher pension of EPS 95 pensioners.

The main reason for this is many pensioners are facing financial problems to lead their life and for their medical treatment.
Virtually, it is not the pension EPS 95 pensioners are getting actually, it is a return on investment.
It is a very small Return on the investment of their contributions from their salary to the EPFO.
But what happened is the state government is not granting the ordinary general senior citizens pension to the EPS 95 pensioners in the pretext that they are getting already a pension.
But the pension from the EPS 95 is lower then the state governments pension.
Let us hope the supreme court give the judgement without postponing further and farther.
Also the Central Government is delaying in implementation of the increased Minimum Pension as per the Koshiyari Committee appointed by the Central Government. This is a big blow on the Spain of the EPS 95 Pensioner.

Supreme Court of India WP (C) No. 352/2019 (Diary No. 9692 of 2019) Supreme Court Bar Employees Welfare Association vs UOI Computer generated 6.11.2020 All other EPS’95 cases (including EPFO’s REVIEW Petition and UOI’s SLP) have been tagged with it as per website of Supreme Court of India.
