The government does not respect and follow the orders of the Supreme Court

He said the government was not respecting and following the orders of the Supreme Court.

Giving an example of this, on 4-10-2016, in the case of RC Gupta, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the pensioners and even four years later, the Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) and the Central Government did not fully implement the order.

In these four years, the Supreme Court has ruled that nearly two lakh senior pensioners have died without getting justice and the number is increasing every day.

But the ruthless central government is so unconscious to enforce this decision of the Supreme Court.

Dada Jode said that the Supreme Court had given another decision in favor of pensioners on 1–04-2019, but the Central Government was not ready to accept that decision either.

The people of the country get justice from the Supreme Court, but the government does not allow it for the elderly pensioners.

It was clear that the government was not accepting the Supreme Court order.

It is sad to say that such a dire situation has arisen in the country,

Elderly retired pensioners were cheated.

Dada Jode once again informed the Sangh Chief about this.

Prior to 2014, when in opposition at the Center, its leaders were concerned for a pension increase for veteran pensioners.

He filed a petition in the Rajya Sabha demanding that the committee vote.

At the Center, the then Congress government set up a committee headed by then Rajya Sabha MP Bhagat Singh Koshyari (now Hon’ble Governor, Government of Maharashtra).

The then Opposition MP Prakash Javadekar also demanded that the recommendations made by the Koshyari Committee be implemented.

But in the campaign when the Lok Sabha elections were announced in 2014, now Union ministers have promised to implement the Bhagat Singh Koshyari Committee report if we come to power at the election center.

With this confidence, many retired pensioners campaigned for leaders and cast their votes. As a result, the party government came to power at the center.

Instead of fulfilling the promises made after coming to power, the BJP government made several anti-labor changes in the EPS 95 Retirement Act from 1-09-2014. The country was doing injustice to the elderly retired pensioners.

Retired pensioners have gone to court against the new EPS 95 law of 2014.

The Kerala High Court declared the change illegal.

The Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) and the Central Government filed an appeal in the Supreme Court on 12-10-2018 challenging this decision in favor of retired pensioners.

The Supreme Court upheld the decision dismissing the appeal on 1–04-2019. Also, the changes made in the law from 1-09-2014 are invalid and decided in favor of retired pensioners. [The Supreme Court upheld the decision, dismissing the appeal on 1–04-2019. Also, the changes made in the law from 1-09-2014 were invalid and re-ruled in favor of retired pensioners.]

But both the central government and the EPFO are not ready to accept the Supreme Court decision.

The Center has made it clear that it is not ready to do justice to the elderly retired pensioners.

The Supreme Court declared the changes illegal, even though they made unjust changes to the law.

Jode said the central government itself was filing various petitions in the Supreme Court against the elderly poor pensioners, trying not to do justice to the elderly retirees and preventing the elderly from losing their proper pension. It is the central government that is exacerbating the plight of the country’s elders who retire and are considered enemies. This is very sad and unfortunate.

Bhowat appealed to Dr Bhagwat Gari to be diligent and sympathetic to the plight of millions of elderly poor retirees in the country and in the last days of his life.

He requested the RSS chief to play his part in making the last stage of the life of retired old age pensioners happy.
