EPS 95 PENSION: దేశంలో పరిష్కరించబడని సమస్య ఏదైనా ఉందా అంటే ఉంది. అదే EPS 95 PENSION సమస్య.
A LONG PENDING PROBLEM: దాశబ్దాలు మారుతున్నాయి. అయినా ఈ సమస్య అపరిష్కృతం.
POOR PENSIONER: EPS 95 PENSIONER ను poor pensioner అని ఎందుకన్నామంటే అతనికి భారత దేశంలో ఉన్న ఏ వృద్ధుడు తీసుకునే pension కన్నా , ఈ EPS 95 PENSIONER తీసుకునే పెన్షన్ తక్కువ. కావాలంటే ఏ eps pensioner ను కదిలించినా ఇదే మాట, మాట కాదు వాస్తవం.
ముఖ్యంగా ఇందులో EPS 95 PENSIONERS రెండు విధాలుగా ఉన్నారు.
11. ప్రైవేట్ రంగము లో ఉద్యోగం చేసి రిటైర్ అయిన వ్యక్తులు:
వీరు Minimum pension కోసం ఆందోళన చేయుచున్నారు.
2. ప్రభుత్వ కార్పొరేషన్లు, సహకార బ్యాంకులు, సొసైటీలు, సహకార సంస్థలు మొదలగునవి.
వీరు Higher pension కోసం ఆందోళన చేయుచున్నారు. వీరు దాదాపు భారత దేశ అన్ని రాష్ట్రాలలో హై కోర్టులు మరియు కొంతమంది సుప్రీం కోర్టు ను ఆశ్రయించి ఉన్నారు. ఇందుకు ముఖ్య కారణం ఆయా రాష్ట్రాల మాతృభాష లో సర్క్యులర్ ఇవ్వకుండా అర్థంకాని ఇంగ్లిష్ భాషలో సర్క్యులర్ ఇచ్చి pension option – Lower pension or Higher pension అని అడుగడము జరిగినది. అప్పుడు దాదాపు కాదు కాదు అన్ని సంస్థలలో చాలా మంది Lower pension ఆప్షన్ ఇవ్వడము జరిగినది.వారే ఇప్పుడు పెన్షన్ బాధితులు. Representations ఎన్ని చేసినా ప్రభుత్వము పట్టించుకోక పోవడము వలన తప్పనిసరి పరిస్థితులలో పైన తెలిపిన రెండు వర్గాల వారు కోర్టులను ఆశ్రయించడం జరిగినది.

A LONG PENDING PROBLEM: Decades are going. Yet this problem is unattended.
Poor PENSIONER: EPS 95 PENSIONER is a poor pensioner because his pension is lesser than the pension of any old man in India.
The EPS 95 PENSIONERS are mainly two types.
1. People who have been employed in the private sector and retired:
They are concerned for Minimum pension.
2. Government corporations, cooperative banks, societies, cooperative institutions etc.
They are concerned for a Higher pension.
They have approached High courts and some of them approached the Supreme Court. The main reason for this is that the circular for pension was not given in the local language of the states it is given in the English language, which was not understood by many of the educated and uneducated employees. Because of the negligence of the government, the two communities approached the courts in unavoidable circumstances.

Meanwhile, Employees Provident Fund Organization [EPFO] have filed petitions in the Supreme Court against the interest of Poor EPS 95 Pensioners.

Every time the Court judgment is being postponed in the Supreme Court. Years are passing without judgments and Poor Pensioners are passing to the burial ground one after another.
