The EPS pensioners are already 60+; most of them even 70+ ..they are 65- lakhs, in number….(one crore+; including their spouses ..)…
These are the citizens of our Mahan Bharat dragging lives with meager pension of 1000 and below…
the unfortunate lot living wretched life of dependance for a square meal per day, not to speak of medicare..
The union government & the EPFO are not at all inclined to come to their rescue even though the rulers are in pretty much knowledge of their plight..

They do not honour the intervention of even the apex court…besides, causing hindrance in the timely flow of justice by filing Revision Petitions on flimsy grounds and the issues which were already decided; bidding time and in the process causing natural elimination of many lives due to ailments and oldage…..*What is the number of pensioners who met the imminent end of life* during the time from 04.10.2016( judgement of Honble SC) and this day…..
We dont foresee salvation in our life time which is pretty much close…most of us are living one leg in grave ..
No positive action could be anticipated in the near future to meet our legitimate demands…lakhs of aged people are forced to rot, in absolute misery with their meager pension of a few hundreds…
We see worthless and useless postings from YouTube….and once in a while posting of a news item on the meet of Hema Malini with PM and a letter written by Smrithi Irani and some other MP..
These events only after so many years of our struggle and turmoil….these are mere gestures by some people to stay relevant….
The forum is totally occupied by time-passers…

While the situation remains so pathetic with the attitude of union government and EPFO, it is really a hearty gesture by the State governments in Andhra, Telangana etc., providing Oldage Pension of 2000 and beyond…
The AP government is also providing medicare under *Arogya Sree scheme*..
The most pathetic part of it is, the EPS pensioners are denied benefits under *Oldage Pension* and *Arogya Sree scheme* of State governments…

May I request the intelligentsia that *instead of celebrating *555*, why not use their strength and fighting spirits, to convince and persuade the state governments of AP and Telangana as well as the Union government, to extend these two benefits to EPS pensioners who are drawing EPS pension below 5001, *automatically*….
This way, many of the pensioners could enjoy benefits equal to *minimum pension of 7500*…
Finally, I plead with the leaders in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states to persuade the authorities concerned to :
1. Grant *Oldage Pension* to EPS pensioners( drawing less than 5001), AUTOMATICALLY basing on the data available in the respective EPFOs within these states,
2. Likewise, make these EPS pensioners eligible under *AROGYA SREE SCHEME*, to receive medicare and benefits…
3. entitlement under *AYUSHMAN BHARAT* scheme of Union government, to these pensioners, AUTOMAYICALLY, …
These 3 steps are required to be achieved on *HIGH & SUPREME PRIORITY* ..
Please make your efforts in this direction, right from today, since many lives are on the brink of the *ultimate*…
